Virginia Elaine "Sissy" Lloyd

Virginia "Sissy" Elaine Lloyd, 63, of Burleson, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016. She was born Feb. 26, 1953, to Willard Morris Munden and Alice Brady. Graveside services: 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at DFW National Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 3 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home, in Joshua. Sissy loved quilting and was a member of a Quilting Club. She also loved crafts. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play and being a Mamaw. She loved laughing and was very family-oriented. She was an avid fan of Jeopardy and enjoyed shopping for others. Sissy is survived by her husband, Sidney Lloyd of Burleson; son, Clinton Lloyd and wife, Dawn, of Burleson; daughter, Jennifer Dale and husband, Jonathan, of Joshua; sister, Carol Moore and husband, Paul, of Burleson; brother, Bill Taylor and wife, Shirley, of St. Johns, Canada; sister, Susie McGlothlin and husband, Jim, of Hurst; sister, Judy Thornton and husband, Richard, of Burleson; five grandchildren, Ryne, Camden, Emma, Autumn and Summer and numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by parents; sister, Katy Garner and nephew Bobby D, Moore. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association. Attachments area
