Virginia "Genny" Swisher

Virginia Mary Swisher, 66, homemaker, passed away November 20, 2012, at home. Service: 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 24, 2012 Burleson Church of Christ. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua. Ginny was born June 26, 1946, in Hartford, Connecticut to Edward William and Virginia V. Fitzgerald. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Ginny loved going to church and prayer groups. She also loved going to the casinos. Survivors: husband, Butch Swisher of Burleson; daughter Yvonne Avalos; sons, Edward Chase, Christopher Chase; sisters, Lori M. Mullen, Kathleen M. Bradley, Jaqueline Gryphon, Beth Ann Fenn; 6 grandchildren and many extended family and friends.
