Walter Baccus

Walter Baccus, 69, of Burleson, a retired manager for Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas of 25 years, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Saturday in Union Hill Cemetery, Joshua. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Walter was born July 2, 1942, in Ada, Okla., to Randolph and Vivian Simmons Baccus. He married Dolores Inez Anderson on Feb. 12, 1965, in Fort Worth. He was a Christian and loved his cows and horses. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Wife, Dolores Baccus of Burleson; sons, Scott Baccus and wife, Teresa, of Joshua, James Baccus of Covington and Tracy Baccus and wife, Stacy, of Covington; two brothers; two sisters; grandchildren, Colton, Kari-Ann, Shelby and Lacy; great-grandchildren, Corben and Natalie.
