LAKE WORTH -- Walter Garland Lindsey Jr., 81, a self-employed carpenter, died Friday, Aug. 26, 2005, in Fort Worth. Memorial service: Private. Mr. Lindsey was born May 21, 1924, in Emory. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Survivors: Daughter, Joyce Lancaster and husband, Michael, of Godley; sister, Dorothy, of Denton; granddaughter, Melony Yates and husband, David, of Godley; grandson, Eric Joy of Godley; and great-grandchildren, Katlin Joy and Landon Yates.
