Walter, widowed, retired from the military in 1975 and worked in the flooring supply business until his second retirement.  He is survived by daughter Patti Heath, sons, Walter P. Norwood and wife Markedda and Larry, brothers Sammie and David, sisters Linda Hanson, Carmen Waters and Sherry Norwood, grandchildren Blake Heath, Amy Henry and husband Brian, Amber Powell and husband Lance and Sierra Norwood, Great Grandchildren Evan Heath, Buck Powell, Keelie Powell, Evvie Powell, Tucker Henry and Brooklyn Henry. Niece’s Joni Goodnight, Vicki Baugus, Nephew Jeff Norwood. Funeral service will be on Wednesday April 6 at 11:00 AM, visitation from 6-8 PM April 5, both at Mountain Valley Funeral Home, 3407 SW Wilshire Blvd, Joshua, TX 76058
