William Eli Carlton Jr.

William (Bill) Eli Carlton, Jr, 87, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018. Bill was born June 23, 1931 in Fort Worth, Texas to William Eli Carlton, Sr and Ruby Claire (Wood) Carlton. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Ruby Carlton; sister, Shirley Eastman; and brother, E. E. Carlton. Bill was a big motorcycle enthusiast, an advocate for the helmet law, and motorcycle safety. He was a member of the Cycle Club of Ft. Worth, Texas Motor Cycle Road Rider's Association, very involved in the National Coalition of Motorcyclists, and member of American Motorcycle Association.
He is survived by daughter, Shirley Becker (David); sons, Bruce Carlton (Maria Kozielki), Paul Carlton (Pam); grandchildren, Jarrett & Blake Becker, Chandler & Gracie Carlton, Jessica Rose (Justin), Kevin & Hunter Carlton; great-granddaughter, Harper Rose; nieces, nephew, and loving friends.
