William Herbert Hanson

On January 11, 2022 William Herbert Hanson, 78, devoted husband, Dad, Papa, Great Papa and friend went to rest on the mountain.  William was born May 14, 1943 to Earl and Georgie Hanson in Fort Worth, Texas.

William treasured his wife Dixie of 53 years, his children, his grandchildren and his great grandchildren.  He worked construction for most of his life and retired in 2005 from Repco Replacement Parts in Everman, Texas.  William loved to fish, camp and coach baseball.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Georgie Hanson, his sister Margaret his four brothers, Earl Wayne, JW, Arthur and Roger.

He is survived by his loving wife Dixie and his three daughters Kim and husband Lowell, Terri and husband Craig, Tracy and husband Jon and his son Earl and wife Rosa.  Eight grandchildren Mary (Wes), Dusty (Bethany), Olivia (Riley), Ricky (Briana), Haley (Blake), Kirstan, Jesenia and Annastin.  Eight great grandchildren Makena, Bryson, Trinton, Hunter, Tyce, Colt, Abby, Bettie and one on the way, and many other loving family and friends.
