William (Bill) Laroy Honeycutt was born at home in Bell County, Texas on May 15, 1938, to William and Frances Honeycutt. He passed away peacefully at home on September 11, 2023.
Bill retired as a Captain after serving 30 years in the Arlington Fire Department. On his days off from the fire department he owned and operated his own business Honeycutt Custom Painting.
He was a good Christian man, a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved holidays with family. Family always came first with Bill. He filled spare time with gardening, bowling, and he really loved camping with family and especially all the little ones in the family.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, William L. Honeycutt, mother Frances Honeycutt Marth, stepfather Gilbert Marth, brother Bobby Honeycutt, and son Randy Honeycutt, and daughter Tamara Heuser.
Bill is survived by his wife of 42 years, Susie Honeycutt and 5 children Mikeal Honeycutt, Malinda Anders and husband George, Paul Bransom and wife Kathy, Giles Honeycutt and wife Marilou, and James Honeycutt. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren, sister Shirley Marth, son-in-law Mark Heuser and numerous other family members and dear friends.
