William Earl "Bill" Taylor

JOSHUA -- William Earl "Bill" Taylor, 87, a retired race horse owner, of Joshua, passed away Sat. September 10, 2011 in Keene. Service: 2pm Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Caddo Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation: 6-8 pm Tues. at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Bill was born Nov. 29, 1923 in Fort Worth to Charlie Ben and Lillie Mae Commander Taylor. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He loved raising and caring for horses and building bedding. Since 1954 he has been a resident of Joshua. Bill was preceded in death by sons, Rusty, Kenny and Chuck Taylor. Survivors: Wife, Mary Frances Taylor of Joshua; sons, Mike Taylor and wife Linda, Pat Taylor and wife Jackie, Terry Taylor and Bill Taylor Jr. and wife Kathy; 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren.
