Wynona Hendrix

BURLESON -- Wynona Hendrix, 90, a retired sewing machine operator for Wall's Manufacturing in Cleburne, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006, in Bedford. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Kopperl Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home between Joshua and Burleson. Memorials: Mrs. Hendrix requested that, in lieu of flowers, friends may honor her memory by making contributions to the Kopperl Cemetery Association, Box 133, Kopperl 76652. Vonnie Wynona Hendrix was born July 28, 1915, in Waco to Charles Thomas and Rosie Jane Bailey Bush. She married Joe Monroe Hendrix on Sept. 3, 1933, in Kopperl. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kopperl. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Jimmy; and a grandson, Joe. Survivors: Son, Johnny Hendrix and wife, Dorothy; grandchildren, Randy, Terry and Tina; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred and Laura; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
